Editorial and Medical Review Policy

Every article on this site is written and medically reviewed by Dr. Nadir Bilici, MD, DipIBLM, a double board-certified neurologist and lifestyle medicine physician. This page explains how that content is produced, sourced, and kept accurate.

All clinical content published here is authored by Dr. Bilici and reflects his own clinical judgment as a practicing preventive neurologist. It is written for patients who want to understand the reasoning behind a recommendation, not simply be told what to do. Articles are educational and do not constitute medical advice or establish a physician–patient relationship; for guidance specific to your situation, book a consultation.

Content is grounded in peer-reviewed literature. Where an article makes a research claim, the primary sources are listed in a References section at the end of that article, linked to the original journal, DOI, or PubMed record so you can read them yourself. We cite primary studies and major evidence syntheses, such as the Lancet Commission on dementia prevention, rather than secondary summaries wherever possible.

Articles are reviewed for accuracy when they are updated. Each article displays its publication date and, where applicable, the date it was last reviewed. As the evidence base evolves (new biomarkers, revised guidelines, updated risk estimates), the underlying content is revised to match, and outdated figures are corrected. If you believe something on this site is inaccurate or out of date, please get in touch.
